CRA’P workshops 2015

Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October from 10h to 14h

I propose starting from the research and creation project ‘air-condition’ that I’m doing with the artist Iñaki Álvarez. And by sharing this research, open a space for dialogue and reflection with the participants.

‘air-condition’ wishes to explore the potential of air. Making explicit the air. By creating situations and atmospheres where air may as well become ‘protagonist/performer’.

Thus, different explorations about the air condition through the body and its relation with the environment will be proposed.

Anyone interested can participate, whatever its field of work or experience.

Carme Torrent studied architecture at the University of Barcelona. At the same time carries out work in the dance field, and becomes involved in various learning, research and creation processes. Has collaborated with greater intensity with the choreographers Min Tanaka, Carmelo Salazar and Xavier Le Roy.

An important part of her work enrolls in the exploring the potential of places and contexts as choreographic devices, generating situations that put under suspicion the distinction between work and context.
