The work room has a long history related to Performing Arts and body based practices. Called ‘La Serradora’, between 2002 and 2008 houses the municipal school of dance. In October 2008 Esther Freixa and Noemi Oncala Finnie boost the project, as a space of creation for the Performing and Live Arts, running until the end of 2010 in agreement with the City of Mollet.

During this period, La Serradora becomes established as a space for the creation and research of the Performing Arts in Mollet, the City Council acknowledged the work done, and received the distinction of Best Practices by the Province of Barcelona and is included in the Bank of Best Practices.
