CRA’P workshops 2015-2016
From October to June
Thursdays from 9:30 to 11h
The Kalarippayattu is the oldest known Asian martial art, and comes from the region of Kerala, in southern India. Its physical training, rich and accomplished, has influenced many classical and folkloric art forms in the region.
The term Kalarippayattu is derived from the combination of two words: ‘Kalari’ meaning the place of training, and ‘payattu’ meaning practice, which consists of a variety of exercises cultivating benefits of mental, physical and spiritual order. The continued practice of Kalarippayattu opens a state of awareness of being in the action.
