30 YEARS
A poetic act of resistance

The process of research and creation of 30 years arises from the poetic writing of Ingeborg Bachmann, which chronicles the disease that devastated Europe in the course of the 30s of the last century. An ice age in which no new universes are possible without a new language, because through the words that have survived it, the ignominy can be reborn anytime. For Bachmann the war, the real war is nothing but the outbreak of that war which is peace.
The scenic proposal of 30 years is characterized by the intimacy of a confession incarnated in the body and its memory, like Antigone in front of Creon and the facts that condemn her.
This project has been in residence at: Theatre Potlatch (Fara Sabina, Italy), Mazatlan Scene (Mazatlán, Mexico) and Theatre La Rendija (Mérida, Mexico).

Toni Cots is an actor, author, teacher and director of performing arts. His work has been developed in different countries around the world. Director of the Master MACAPD and a funding member of CRA’P- Creation and artistic research Practices.
Esther Freixa i Ràfols is performer, actress and theater maker with a degree in acting from the Theatre Institute of Barcelona. She works as a performer with different artists and companies. At the same time, she searches for pedagogic outlines to allow the transmission of knowledge about the body and the creative act: classes, workshops and various courses. She is a founding member of CRA’P – Creation and artistic research Practices.
