COMICS & MAMBOS & VINYLS

Último Comboio is a multidisciplinary company established in Barcelona since 2006. We bring our creations to the scenic field and also work to film projects and exposure. The Company, directed by Anton Coimbra, is a laboratory where artists from different fields work together on creating audiovisual and new scenic languages.
Dance, comics, mambos, turntable, rumbas, slides, Dean Martin and good humor. With these ingredients Ultimo Comboio presents this multidiscliplinar creation, currently in development, where the dance is the main focus. With tropical rhythms, the dancers take us to a universe which explore the intimate and sensual flirtation, seduction, secrets and femininity.
Given the visual nature of the company, we have tried an experiment where all the choreographies are created and inspired with different comics from three cartoonists: Quino, Shaun Tuan and Jean-Jaques Senpé. The whole team has participated in the process of transporting the illustration to scene, including dancers, and has been a new experience for everyone and extremely rewarding. www.ultimocomboio.com
