CRA’P collaborations 2012

On the occasion of the International Dance Day, CRA’P has prepared a weekend full of activities that celebrates at the same time the first year of the entity. We hope everyone can find a moment to approach the space Cra’p to share this special moment for the association.

 

FRIDAY, April 27th

18:30 Parc de les Pruneres, Mollet.

We participate in the IDD celebration organized by the City Council with a presentation of the group of the workshop guided by  ANA S COUSO and JORGE HORNO; A PRACTICE OF THE MOVEMENT.

 

SATURDAY, April 28th

10:00 to 11:30 MOVEMENT WORKSHOP AND CREATIVE GAME WITH ESTHER FREIXA I RÀFOLS

This workshop offers children to meet with their bodies through games, movement and dance. To get to Know the body and the various possibilities that the movement through game gives to establish a safe space where everyone can explore their creativity and share it with others.
For children from 4 to 11 years old.

Esther Freixa i Ràfols is an actress and scenic creator with a degree in acting from the Theatre Institute of Barcelona. She works as a performer with different artists and companies. At the same time, she searches for pedagogic outlines to allow the transmission of knowledge about the body and the creative act: classes, workshops and courses.She is a founding member of CRA’P – Pràctiques de creació i recerca artística.

12:00 DANCE MOVEMENT THERAPY TALK WITH MARIA RIBERA SALVADOR AND MARIA ELISA AL CHEIKH

Dance Movement Therapy is a psychotherapeutic approach where dance, movement and body work are vehicles to promote the physical integration ,emotional,cognitive and social development of the individual. It is a therapy that includes non-verbal communication which reveals the body language through actions, gestures, postures or movements that express the inner world of the individual, allowing the relationship with others through their own impulses and expressive needs within an individual or group frame. Free admission

Maria Ribera Salvador is formed in Psychology, Dance and Dance Therapy. Investigates in a transdiciplinàry way corporeality.
María Elisa Al Cheikh is graduated  in Arts, mention in cinematography, has been a dancer, university professor in film and social psychology, political psychology researcher on the topic of corporeality and public space. Is body psychotherapist, and psicodramatist and dancetheraphist. Currently studying Jungian psychology in the  Venezuelan School of Deep Psychology and Dance Movement Therapy at the University of Barcelona.

16:00 to 19:00 WORKSHOP TOOLS FOR IMPROVISATION WITH CECILIA COLACRAI

The proposal of this workshop will be to ensure that our body and mind are flexible, adaptable and active to share our dance. We will seek to pave the way for the exploration and investigation of the movement from different patterns and individual and group games, which will allow us to observe the different possibilities of perception of bodies, time and space. Our intention is to share, celebrate and communicate through movement.
No previous experience is needed.

Cecilia is Colacrai is a dancer, choreographer and teacher of contemporary dance and improvisation. She lives in Barcelona since 2002. She has developed her own work with artists of different disciplines such as circus, theater, music and video.

Meeting with the team of Cra’p with snacks, video projection Symbiotic 2011, presentation of  Loving effects book, music with DJ Olympia.

SUNDAY 29th April

11:00 to 14:00 WORKSHOP THE SHAPE OF THE MEMORY WITH LAIDA AZKONA GOÑI

We propose a practical and creative approach to memory. We will be able to play with our own memories and even re-invent them. We will propose improvisation exercises which we will work with and build from our memories, whether real or fictitious.
In this workshop you must bring a photo or image from your memory and an image of a character that inspires us.
No previous experience is needed.

Laida Azkona Goñi is a dancer and creator. Finished her training at SEAD, Trisha Brown Company Studio and Movement Research (New York). She creates around the field of the movement arts, is a cofounder of Hierba Roja Dance and has collaborated as a performer with several companies within and outside Catalonia.

 

The workshops are priced at 10 euros (5 euros for collaborators Cra’p).
The children’s workshop on Saturday morning is 5 eur.
