CREATION WORKSHOP
For women of all age groups
From 7 February until 6 March. Wednesdays from 19h to 21h.
This creative workshop seeks to open a framework for reflection on the fact of being a woman in our contemporary world. The goal is to generate a public moment in which women take to the streets to put body and voice into what mobilises each of the participants, in a joint, solid and structured performative action.
With the body as the reference ground that has conditioned women so much throughout history. Women’s bodies have suffered numerous abuses and repressions, from mutilations, rapes, surgery, etc. and have been an incessant source of conflict. Women have also made their bodies serve as a stronghold of power and freedom, using it for various purposes.
That’s why we will put our bodies in the streets and squares of Mollet, creating a performance inviting to reflection out of the impact of the feminine group presence. Committing to the sensitivity and strength that characterise us.

Esther Freixa Ràfols is an actress and a Performing Arts maker. BA degree in Drama from the Theatre Institute of Barcelona. For over 15 years she has been teaching, giving workshops and courses about body awareness and movement, in several contexts, artistics and therapeutic. She has shown her scenic pieces in several countries in Europe and Latin America, and India. She is a founding member of CRA’P.
