CREATION, PLAY AND MOVEMENT

CRA’P Workshops 2023

From June 27th to July 13th, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 17h to 18:30h

SPECIAL WORKSHOP IN CREATION

It is a proposal that starts from the regular performing body workshop and will now focus on a creative process based on the story Colorin Coloraina by Manuela Raurich.

We will journey through the colours to understand that each one, like each person, has its own quality and valuing that difference we can create a common Rainbow.

What colour are emotions?
How do they move? How are they expressed?
Which one is sneakier and which one is jumpy?
As the colours the painter the movements the dancer.

Interacting with the body and the different proposed materials, we will imagine together the landscapes of our own tale.

On the last day, the outcome of the creation will be shared with the families.

One group only from 4 to 10 years old. Limited places.

Esther Freixa. Actress/performer and a Performing Arts maker. BA degree in Drama from the Theatre Institute of Barcelona. For over 15 years she has been teaching, giving workshops and courses about body awareness and movement in primary schools, theatre and dance schools, cultural institutions and centres. She has performed her work in several countries in Europe and Latin America. She is a founding member of CRA’P.

Manuela Raurich. She studied dance in the Theaterschool in Amsterdam where she participated in various creations with the students of SNDO. After that she specialized in Choreography at Codarts in Rotterdam. Once she graduated, she worked for the production house Dansateliers in Rotterdam and participated at the DanceWeb festival in Vienna. During her maternity time, she was influenced by the philosophy of Emmi Pikler. Currently she is teaching dance and learns Iyengar Yoga at the Yoga Centre of Barcelona with Jordi Martí and his team.
