Can Gomà Theatre – Mollet del Vallès
CRA’P presenta “Portal” a performance proposal of dance and music by Núria Guiu
Portal was premiered in October 2014 in Oktoberdans, an international dance festival in Norway. In the theatre venue Can Gomà, the choreographer from Mollet Núria Guiu in collaboration with the musician and video maker from Norway Gisle Martens, will open to the public their creation process.
In science fiction, a portal is a gateway to another world from the past, the present, the future, or to an expanded awareness. Portal is also a logon point (‘cyber door’) on the internet. The new media are changing our relationship with the body and mind, as well as our perception of time and space. The performance reflects on the term Digiphrenia, on how technology allows us to exist in more than one location – and with different I – at the same time.
