CRA’P workshops 2011

March – April – May: Thursdays from 19.30h to 21.30h

The aim of this workshop is to generate a research space to explore the different possibilities given by the body and the voice as fundamental tools for dramatic expression. Some content to be developped: the basic principles of scenic presence (altering the balance-opposites-intentions), the energy (modulation-projection-absorption-retention), and the action (space-time-dynamics-rythm-accents-action scores).

No previous experience required

Taught by Vera Livia García

Vera Livia García has a degree in Combined Arts (Theatre-Cinema-Dance) from the University of Buenos Aires. Actress, dancer and teacher. Her studies begin at the School Armar Danza-Teatro from Buenos Aires. In 1996 travels to New York to imporve her dance education (Merce Cunningham Studio, Nikolais/Luis Foundation for Dance, Movement Research and Dance Space). Between 1999 and 2001 begins la her studies in Theatre Anthropology under the guidance of Guillermo Angelelli. Is teaching theatre since 2008 with courses for children, and from 2003 teaches intensive workshops on the Actor’s training (Theatre Anthropology).
