LIS FLOWER a path of decomposition in order to blossom
The seed beneath the earth, withdrawn, takes its time to transit its isolation, its long solitude nourished by compost, makes its way with vulnerability. Seeing the other flowers, Naked, just like her.
Lis Flower is a journey through a long illness. Upon the impact of the news, one wants to go on with life as usual, it cannot be. It is necessary to surrender oneself to the putrefaction within; suddenly, the senses are sharpened, life manifests itself in all its fullness. Putrefaction that purifies the soul. We feel fulfilled, we accept that we need the other. Even if it is difficult to be seen naked, we allow ourselves to be helped. The other as a support. A long time later we return to the daily routine, but this time in a different way. Nothing is ever the same again. We realise that we are finite and we live, we dance, between fear and plenitude.
A dance-performance piece that speaks of the wound we all have, of showing and caring for our vulnerability. An experience where pain and solitude culminate in healing.
