CRA’P Workshops 2022

From June 28th to July 14th, Tueday and Thursday from 17h to 18:30h

SPECIAL CREATION WORKSHOP

It is a proposal related to the regular performing body workshop, which will now focus on a creative process centered on our own and other people’s emotions. To do this, we will work with the game of the Giraffe Language, created by La Teatreria Bcn and based on Marshall Rosenberg’s Nonviolent Communication.

Through the 36 cards that make up this game, we will become aware of language and how we express ourselves, linking body and word.

Connecting feelings with necessities.
Playing to identify and express emotions and feelings.
Listening without judgement or evaluation.
Moving to transform.
Enhancing the possibilities offered by the body and the imagination.

On the last day, the outcome of the creation will be shared with the families.

Esther Freixa. Actress/performer and a Performing Arts maker. BA degree in Drama from the Theatre Institute of Barcelona. For over 15 years she has been teaching, giving workshops and courses about body awareness and movement in primary schools, theatre and dance schools, cultural institutions and centres. She has shown her pieces in several countries in Europe and Latin America. She is a founding member of CRA’P.

Julieta Ferraro. Teacher of Contemporary Dance, dancer and actress. During the last ten years she has specilized in the area of theater dance, contemporary dance, physical theater and film-dance. She has periodically taught through diverse festivals, projects and institutions. Among the most significant projects are “Fronteras” (Chile and Argentina) as well as the home of orphans and juvenile prison in Rosario, Argentina.
