CRA’P presents the musician and sound artist Nigul

Presentation of the publication of the Urban Fictions cycle curated by Mixité for the Abelló Museum Showcase, and closing event accompanied by the artist from Mollet Nigul who will offer an epilogue concert. This event will help us to put an end to the chapters that have taken place in this emblematic space of the city during the last two years. A city that has rethought itself, from the river, and from a renewed relationship with the natural environment and its landscape, from its people and the collectives and entities that daily care for a fairer and more resilient city, prepared to face the social, environmental and climate challenges of the future.

The musical action is a constellation of noises, rumours, sounds and voices from Mollet that become a landscape. Sound stories recorded during the last fifteen years in the city of Mollet that the artist transforms, edits, and synthesizes through the repetition and superposition of notes sustained over time; a minimalist musical style that receives the name of drone. Sometimes, these recordings are recognizable, other times they are ultra-processed into totally different textures and sounds creating a new Mollet soundscape.
