CRA’P presents “Spiritual boyfriends” a work in progress performance by Núria Guiu Sagarra.

Spiritual boyfriends is a scenic proposal that explores the iconographic investigation of the physical practices that have been shaping the modern postural yoga from its origins to today in a hybrid way.
History, image and personal / autobiographical imaginary within the visual / anthropological
investigation are infiltrated and amalgamated, to create a choreographic terrain, in which are found
documentary and personal data, rising questions about: reality, fiction, image, power, gender, sexuality,
spirituality, origin, identity, culture, new technologies …

Núria Guiu Sagarra. Dancer and choreographer of Mollet del Vallès (1985). Graduated from the
Barcelona Theatre Institute. She has worked and taught courses with the choreographer Arco Renz in
projects developed and presented in Asian countries, and with the company Gisele Vienne. As a dancer,
she has worked with companies in Spain such as IT Dansa or La Veronal, and internationally with
Cullberg Ballet, Gisele Vienne, Carte Blanche Dance Company. Currently as choreographer her piece
Likes, created in close relationship with CRA’P of Mollet and Hiroshima Theatre of Barcelona has been selected by the European platform Aerowaves 2018 and is touring at festivals such as Fira de Tàrrega 2018 and Dansens Hus Oslo, among others.
