With him, between 4 and 24 October, we will immerse ourselves in this ancient tradition and its legacy with a series of activities related to Kalaripayattu, a millennial tradition of knowledge and practices in martial arts, health and spirituality.
CRA’P hosts this proposal by Esther Freixa of having the opportunity to share with her Kalaripayattu Master in a residential format.
DIWALI RETREAT
KALARIPAYATTU AND SRI VIDYA TANTRA WITH THE MASTER LAKSHMAN GURUKKAL
From 17 to 19 October in Can Gensana, Montseny, Spain.
This DIWALI, the renowned festival of lights in India, we have the opportunity to delve into the universe of Kalaripayattu and Sri Vidya Tantra with the guidance of Master LAKSHMAN GURUKKAL. Two ancestral practices from southern India that are deeply intertwined in their spiritual, philosophical and energetic background.
Diwali celebrates the victory of good over evil, eliminating darkness with light. A unique opportunity to practice with the Master who came from India, taking advantage of the energy of this powerful new moon.
Kalaripayattu is an ancient martial art from Kerala, in southern India. It is based on the observation of nature and especially of some animals and their movements. Its practice allows the opening of energy channels by taking the body to its limits. It is a discipline that strengthens, relaxes and balances physically, mentally and spiritually.
During the weekend we will have the opportunity to delve into this ancient tradition with Kalari and meditation practices and spiritual rituals such as the pooja of the Sri Vidya Tantra tradition, led by renowned master Lakshman Gurukkal from Kerala, India.
