LA EMBOSCADURA (THE AMBUSH)
La emboscadura (the ambush) is a creative process that aims to culminate in a street show full of criticism and humour. An irreverent, risky, provocative humour. The theme of the project is built around a tragedy. That of the pain of this world in which we live, where human beings think they are above nature and destroy it. Specifically, the theme is the disappearance of the forests as a consequence of human activity.
Two desperate trees, their patience exhausted, fed up with the attitude of human beings, decide to act and come out of the forest to give them an ultimatum. The intention of these trees will be, as the book Igniting the Flame of Revolutionary Environmentalism says, to ignite the flame of rebellion, to ambush humans in order for them to become ambushed.

– Colectivo Ameno – Marc Rodrigo. Along with studying philosophy, I became interested in the world of the clown. Interventions in the street, animations, short numbers… A few years later I founded my own company: Colectivo Ameno. My stage proposals combine philosophy, performance and humour.
Filosofía Amena is a conference on philosophy in a humorous way. Saunterer, an itinerant performance based on the act of walking as an act of resistance, and on the philosophy of Santiago López Petit and the Presentiments of the group of critical thinking Espai en blanc, of which I am a member. It premiered at the Grec Festival in 2018, and was also presented at the Fira Tàrrega, at the TNT in Terrassa, Escena Poblenou, at the Fis of Portugal, etc…
Other Maps, co-directed first with Maria Stoyanova and then with Diana Gadish, is a community project in the form of an anti-tourist tour, its starting point is the transformation of cities into brands; into spaces for investing and not for living. This project was selected by the European platform of alternative theatres Be SpectActive and has been performed in Zagreb, Ljubliana, Toulouse, Novi Sad, Santander, Sesimbra…
I also collaborate with Diana Gadish making the live music for her street performance Handle with Care, and as a performer and dramaturgical support for the indoor performance Cruuu.
With the poet Danilo Facelli we created La vida es una fuerza oscura (Life is a dark force). Its starting point is the distress produced by the excess of artificial light that exists today. Based on this, it deals with the world of excesses in which we live, where reality is completely confused with capitalism.
Presenter and entertainer in many events (literary festivals, film festivals, cabarets, circus galas…) Since 2018 I am part of the team of hospital clowns Pallapupas. Together with other European clowns I have participated in the Clownexus project, co-creating a methodology to work with autistic people.
La emboscadura is my new work in progress project. A street performance full of criticism and humour in which two trees come out of the forest to give an ultimatum to human beings.
